Is this what laziness looks like?

Love it! My daughter is the same way with kitty's, but my husband is adamant that we won't own one. I think he'll give in someday, but for now, I should just make her a kitty shirt. 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration. I've never made my own shirt… just appliqued on plain ones I've purchased. I'll have to try. Your little puffs are such an adorable addition!

Quick question- is it possible to just use a long skinny rectangle of the knit that you used for the shirt as the ribbing? Obviously real ribbing is probably best, but I'm lazy and I've heard that Joann's doesn't carry much ribbing (which is the only fabric store near me).

The shirt's adorable 🙂

@Stephanie, yes I almost always use the same knit that I am making the shirt out of as my ribbing. It works the same unless I am using a knit with very little stretch since ribbing has a lot of stretch to it. I follow the same guideline as if I am using ribbing making the strip for the ribbing long enough so that when stretched it fits over the head. I always have the same problem, laziness

When I saw the title of your post I thought the first thing I would see would be a picture of me at my computer looking at blogs instead of sewing. So you are sewing therefore you are not lazy! The shirt is cute and it is worth putting off all the other stuff to make your munchkin smile 🙂
