this is beautiful! as is your little girl! when the baby is old enough and not zapping me of all my energy I cannot wait to start learning to do this kind of thing!

I can't believe you hadn't made a circle skirt!! (well, I guess you still haven't. . . ). Circle skirts are my absolute favorite. I've probably made a dozen or more. LOVE this top and I really like the second layer peeking out. The buttons and polka dots and big flower are really fun.

That is the cutest top EVER! I too have never made a circle skirt but after your spin on it, I HAVE to make this top. Thanks for the tutorial. And that flower is so chic and I love all the drama. The shoes, the rolled skinny jeans, it's all perfect!

Thank you for all the great tutorials! Is this fabric by chance the swiss dot cotton from Joann's? If so, I just purchased two yards of it and I'm a little scared to wash it because the instructions on the bolt say hand wash and on their website it states machine wash, line dry and was wondering how you laundered yours?
Yes is it the swiss dot from Joanns, and I ignore all hand washing rules. I wash all my kids clothes on a "gentle" cycle and dry most of them in the dryer, (this one included) there are just a few linen items I line dry. I have never had a problem but before I sew the clothes I wash the fabric the way I will when it is made into clothing and see how it behaves.

Thank you! I usually ignore it as well but I usually just by a yard and would have hated to waste two yards if I ruined it. Thanks again
