Whew, clearly we are a little obsessed.
What do we love about Project Runway? The challenges, the inspiring designs, the creative designers.
I love the crafting contests that are out there in the blogging world. such as:

So we are proud to bring you the newest competition
Project Toddler Runway!
Do you want to compete?? Here’s the low down:
To enter:
Include:
- Your Name
- 1-3 pictures of something YOU made for a child ages 1-10.
- A small description
- You may have up to 3 separate entires.
All submissions must be received by Dec. 13th 2010
December 16th we will present the ones that made our top 15
The voting will open to narrow the top 15 down to the top 10.
The competition will be an 8 week challenge.

Each week there will be a new challenge presented on Monday. Projects will be posted on Friday and the voting of each challenge will happen over the weekend.
In the final week as per project runway the final three will make a mini collection (3 coordinating looks) and the one with the most votes wins.

The Prize? I am glad you asked! Of course we can’t give away $100,000 to start your own line, but we can give the winner a $30 gift card to moodfabrics.com (as in mood fabrics the fabric store of project runway)
The Rules: Ok there are a few rules. You can of course use a pattern or tutorial found on the web just give credit where credit is due, you must do something to make it your own or unique in some way.
Your submission piece can be made at any time but your weekly challenge pieces must be made during the contest.
Lastly you have to be a follower to enter.

We are looking for different and unique clothing ideas for toddlers. You don’t have to share a tutorial, that is totally up to you.

TARA, no it does not have to be inspired by project runway. It can be anything you made for a child/toddler. It can be made following a pattern or a creation you made up.

I think i might like to try this. I have only sewn by patterns so when you say make it your own would that mean with how i embellish it or actually changing something about the pattern? Thank you so much.

Rhadonda, yes! Tweak or embellish, or maybe just use a really creative combination. We are not going to go all project runway snob here, we just really think a contest bringing out creative children's sewing would be fun. Patterns or online tutorials are more than ok to use we just ask that you share what you used. <br />I really hope you try out! I think it will be a lot of fun! We have some
