I just noticed the blurb about not having permission to distribute. Do you object to pinning? I have been trying to be more conscious of my pinning.

    1. Shauna@shwinandshwin

I am totally ok with pinning! (just please pin this page and not the actual pattern) The no distributing thing is that you don't have the right to give away the pattern or sell the pattern I keep all the rights to the pattern. Thanks!

I have made some shorts using this pattern as a guide. The tutorial is so clear and easy to follow and I love the finished shorts… They are just so cute. I have posted about it on my blog http://ribbonsandbibbons.blogspot.co.uk/ and linked over to this tutorial. There's a photo there if you want to see how I use this pattern.

Thanks,
Jo

A big hello from Berlin,Germany. Just a quick question. Is the 3/8 inch seam allowance already included in the pattern?
Sugi
(an enthusiastic beginner on the way to be a sewing fanatic)

First of all.. great pattern! I love the look of those pants.. can't wait to try something like this! Secondly.. why are people so rude to complain about ads for a FREE pattern or be ugly requesting the (once again) FREE pattern by email?? Why do people have to be so mean? You are sharing this pattern for free when you don't have to. I'm sorry you get rude people sometimes =/ and

These are great. I've had a paper bag pant on my list for a bit. Pinned these for the growing project list. I had to smile at your sizing estimate I swear my little bean pole is a 12 mo. waist with 3T length. These might be just the style for her!

  27. Elizabeth

Do you have a smaller pattern?

  28. Kasey Shumake

    How much fabric is needed?

I have a question. This is my first project with pockets.. I am new to sewing. Are we French seaming the pocket? I’m a little confused where you say turn over and top stich pocket. If I just flip over and sew (which I did) luckily I’m using muslin! 🙂 It has a raw edge. So, do I actually turn the fabric inside out and sew again.
Thanks for any help you can give.. Paula

Thank you for this sweet pattern. I’ve had it pinned a while and now attempting it for my granddaughter who is tall and thin- I think this will look adorable on her! I don’t see mention of how much fabric I’m guessing length of pants. Thank you again for being so generous.
