Hi, I was wondering if you used a special needle in your machine with your sequins and what kind of sewing machine did you use to do this? I have a Baby Lock Melody and I broke two needles trying to sew on my sequins. I then ordered a sequin foot but I don't want to zigzag over my sequins. Do you just go really slowly to make sure you go in the hole through each one? I designed my shirt with

I just used a regular needle, I did sew slowly so I could get in the hole of the sequin whenever possible but the needle did sew right through the sequin, I just lengthened my stitch length.

Hi I was wondering if you sized up in woven fabric to keep the loose feel or if you just used the same size as you would with knit fabric. I just made my first day tripper shirt in a knit fabric and loved it!

I didn't size up for this one, but I made a longer one for my sister (shown in the listing for the pattern) and for that one I used a woven and sized up. I would just go off the measurements for the sizing to decide if you should size up or not but I would also make sure that you use a fabric with some nice drape and not to heavy so it lays well. Hope that helps!
