Love this quilt. It looks like you made it easy enough for me to make on a weekend! That’s going to be my next challenge. I really would love to make this quilt for my little Olaf loving granddaughter. It will be so much fun to see her eyes when she realizes it is for her!

I love this! I hopefully will do one for my 7 you for Christmas. I’m thinking white minky (is that what it’s called) for the body of Olaf?

    1. GrandmaSue10

If it’s for the car, I’d use flannel or Minky for the backing. Nice and warm!
      Yea

    2. GrandmaSue10

Yes, it I called Minky. I think that is a brand name. And, yes, that would be nice for Olaf! He would look like fresh snow just fell on him.

hi this is such a cute quilt. I’m just double checking on the size of the squares for Olof are they 2″ squares? Thanks

    1. Shauna

Yes I made everything with 2″ (finished) squares, so I added seam allowances all around the edge of 3/8″ and that’s why the cut measurement is 2.75″ squares.

I have tried the Olaf download several times again this AM. My computer does not get to the pattern download. Would you please send by e-mail. [email protected] I also have a fax if that is easier. 701-784-5552. I would really appreciate this and the apple pattern that was shown a month or so ago. I am not positive the Apple potholder was from this company. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas..

    1. Shauna

There is no pattern to download, simply the graphic that is shared in this post with the instructions on the size for the squares. Simply count the squares and follow the instructions to create the snow man body and the instructions for assembling the background. (which is strips not squares)

  26. Janith

My young sewing student made the Olaf quilt (thank you so much for the pattern) and then she made a pink bunny quilt for her 3 year old sister using the same techniques. It is so cute and she is very proud.

  27. sjlison

What is the finished size of this quilt? I would like to make in twin size for my 2 year old granddaughter. She is in love with Frozen? Pattern doesn’t seem too difficult to make. Thank you for sharing.

  28. Dorretha Greenlee

I need and would like to know how to make one using Olaf with the blue background that is pictured on your website search instead of the one on your webpage. Thanks so very much!

  29. Dorretha

I wanted and would like the one from the 2014 one please and thanks so very much!

    1. Shauna Wightman

Hi, sorry I am not sure what you mean. There has always only been one pattern and the post describes exactly how to make the quilt shown.

  30. Cheyenne

Hey! This is the cutest! I am trying to make my niece a similar quilt, and I am using darker colors for the background. Would you suggest using any type of backing to the white fabric that Olaf is made from? Thanks, Cheyenne
