I love to embellish shirts. It’s such an easy way to make a basic item something extra special. Sewing on pom-poms may just be the easiest!
I started by making the Olivia Top (pattern by Shwin Designs) I used a fuzzy french terry and used the loop side out for the sleeve and cuffs. Using the loop side of the french terry is a great way to add an accent. Then I laid out all the pom-poms on the top until I liked the design and I pinned them in place. I have also used a glue in the past but I like pins when I use larger pom-poms. Then hand stitch each one in place.
