How about a hemp vase with some lovely tree branches. It is a simple yet elegant table center piece. Want to make one for your self? Great!
You will need:
- A ball of Hemp twine
- A vase (it is easier if the vase is a cylinder but any shape will work)
- Hot glue gun and LOTS of glue.
Step 1: Apply hot glue to the bottom of the vase and begin to wrap the Hemp around the vase. Do this slowly the glue dries fast.
Step 2: When you get to the starting point just start above that point you want the layers to be really close together. Then just keep wrapping and gluing.
(ignore my spray painted thumb)
Step 3: When you get to the top cut the twine and glue the end piece down.
Then you are done!
Now just go outside and grab some branches off your tree (yes your neighbors may look at you like you are crazy) Stick the branches in the vase and You have a new centerpiece. Perfect for winter.
