The Block by Block quilt is finally done!! This quilt has been in the works for what feels like FOREVER! I mean yes the idea is that I could work on a block here or there from the scrap bin and that someday it would of course be done. Finally it is done. MONTHS of work finally completed. I am so in love with it, the quilt is art, and I selected the colors and design for our living room so it could be a quilted piece of art for a space that is full of art and color.
Her she is in all her quilted glory. Texture and bubbles, and beauty. If you look closely you will see a few straight lines in the upper right corner I need to unpick. I started by sewing many lines and quickly hated it and changed paths to just a single line down the middle of the white. I loved it so much more and started to unpick all the other stitches, but it was taking so long I got bored and decided to move on (as one does) I forgot to come back to it, but I will.
