Today’s post is an ode to my dear sweet puppy who is turns one this week. He joined our family back in February. We have loved every moment of Sgt. Pepper. (pepper informally of course) |
Of course there are moments when we come home to find that he has “lovingly” destroyed a handful of diapers. (clean thankfully) |
But I will gladly overlook all of the “destruction” moments for perfect childhood memories created with this boy. (every boy should have a dog right?) |
First I sewed two rectangles together and to create a flap so that there is an opening to remove the pillows, I cut an extra piece of fleece and sewed it along that edge. |
Then I drew a bone and his name on some freezer paper Ironed it on to felt and cut out all the pieces. |
Then sew or glue the name to the bone. |
Lastly sew the bone to the case. Then put the pillows or filling, which ever, inside and you are done. |
Now your dog, or cat, has a cozy bed to sleep on.
Enjoy! |

Thank you so much! Such a great how to. I was lost on where to start and this was exactly what I needed. Completed Molly's new bed last night and she really seemed to like it. Oh and Sgt. Pepper is so handsome, he looks so proud. 🙂
