On the Blessing jacket on Penneys blessing outfit is it a soft satin like wedding satin? I have some of the same lace and I have a week old granddaughter and my daughter fell in love with this blessing outfit. She loves things that are different and one of a kind. This is her first girl and I wondered if the jacket was inspired from several patterns? Do you have the pattern for this jacket? I love the simplicity and the elegance of this outfit. The pearls are so pretty with it. I thought I might try and do high top pearl button shoes to go with it. She has three boys and I always make tuxedos with vest and pleated shirts, bow tie with cumberbun and tails. I have made 6 so far and make each one special and one of a kind. She has placed them in shadow boxes with a picture of them in the tux. It is a pleasure to do this for each grandchild. I do the girls dresses too but have never tried to do a jacket. Thanks for inspriation. Pam
