So I know you are probably thinking the blog has been taken over with pattern posts. What with the Spring Pattern line, and the launch of Pattern Anthology, and the re-release of my early patterns, and last but not least Project run and play sewing… so in between the quiet moments of a baby sleeping, and kids playing my sewing machine has been humming, and it feels great! So I have exciting tutorials to share later but for now fun patterns! Like the grad re-release of the Lovely Rita Skinnies.
The Lovely Rita Skinnies are a fun and hip skinny fit pant that can be made with or without the button flap, and they have front and back pockets. Abbey is also wearing the Sunshine Dress as a tunic (one of the options from the pattern)
The re-release of the Lovely Rita Skinnies has new extended sizes so it is now available in 12-18m – 8Years perfect for the little girl in your life.
For the boys in your life there is the re-release of the Maxwell Top. It is my favorite shirt for boys, dressy and casual at the same time. It has a fun military-esque feel to it and since it has a long body and relaxed fit the top I made Jude over a year ago still fits him, just a little shorter and slimmer.
Jude is also wearing the Number 9 Trousers
The maxwell top has a cute little back yoke which is always fun to customize with pops of color.
The re-release of the maxwell top has extended sizes the pattern is now:
12-18m – 8Years Lots of fun sewing!
I have also made these patterns a few other times you can see those here:

I really enjoyed sewing the maxwell and the number 9 trousers (which made me sing along to Yoko Ono in my head while I worked). Great job!

great looking skinny jeans 🙂 love the colorchoice. I can't see if the jeans are with an elastic waistband or buttoned like 'normal' jeans? :)<br />[email protected]

Oh, pattern and sewing posts are my favorite, so I'm happy to see so many of them! I'm going to have to purchase these extended patterns soon. Can't wait until you make the Nowhere Man pants in bigger sizes! Thanks for all your hard work. 🙂

I missed this post yesterday, but yay! I love this pattern and am so glad you re-released it with additional larger sizes. I'll blog about the pair(s) I made next week. Thanks again for allowing me to test this pattern again.
