Beautiful top! This is just the style I love for girls – simple, stylish, contemporary but not too trying to be adults clothing, if you know what mean.

  10. Stephanie

Such a cute top. I love her headband too. Did you make that?

    1. Shauna@shwinandshwin

I did make the headband, it is actually the belt that I made here:
http://shwinandshwin.blogspot.com/2012/01/felted-flower-belt.html
Since it is on a stretchy band it doubles as a hair band 🙂

  12. Straight Grain

This is gorgeous! I love the sleeves and the big buttons!

  13. Kathi

This is so cute! How easy/difficult would it be to up-size it to a size 8-10?
Thanks!
1. Shauna@shwinandshwin

You know I don't think it would be very difficult, the pattern does go up to a size 6, so the 8-10 wouldn't be too far of a stretch. The size 6 is designed to fit a chest measurement of 25 inches so it would really be a matter of adding extra width to fit in the chest, length to the overall pattern and I would add a little more room under the arm, the pattern pieces are not overly complex

Great!! That is good to know – Thanks!!

I love this pattern! Can you tell me what fabric you used for the green top? A friend of mine wants exactly that one, but I can't seem to find the right color of green. Thanks!

  25. LeslieW.

  26. More Like June

Okay I finally made it! It took getting my sewing room back in order. Here's my daughter modeling it (still in pj bottoms) LOL
http://www.flickr.com/photos/cindymoose/8429931788/in/photostream

  27. Sheree Reit

When you cut the front part of the top out are you cutting both out at once as it's folded or do you need to lay the material out flat and cut 2? Does it matter?
28. Christelle

I would also love it, but would need pattern for greater sizes 8 – 10y…

  29. Christelle

P.S. I am a beginner, so I do not feel comfortable with stretching patterns…

  30. Kristin
