Cross stitch and embroidery have been a love of mine ever since I took a class during explore time in 3rd grade. (best thing my elementary school ever did) One of the things I LOVE about cross stitch especially is that ANYONE can do it. It’s like color by number. You are just making X’s and the markings are all there for you already. It requires very little supplies, travels well, and I find it relaxing and peaceful. Cross stitch is also making a big come back so now is as good a time as any to give it a try.
For my first pattern I have a free, quick and easy project. The Yellow Submarine.
For the pattern I used a 5″ hoop
The DMC floss colors I used are on the pattern. I used 3 strands for each stitch and less than 1 skein of each color.

You will need some basic knowledge on how to cross stitch to do this project. Like how to do a full stitch, and a half stitch, as well as a basic back stitch for the outline and words.
