You may have seen how on Friday I released my new Spring patterns. Over the next few days I will give you the details about the patterns, fabric used, all that fun stuff. So first up the Anytime At All Tee. To say it’s a favorite would be an understatement. Tee shirt patterns have been done (sure) it’s not like a crazy new design reinventing how we dress. I have even made several tee patterns which I love. But I felt like with most thing I had something different I could offer to the tee shirt world. My kids LIVE in tees. They will branch out and wear other things from time to time or if I ask, but when they dress themselves they choose a tee shirt. So shown above is the basic tee. The fabric gives it the look of being color blocked but this is the solid tee, with pocket option.
I love the solid pain tee option. This one I added a sequin heart to. I love using plain tees to add appliqué and design to and the plain tee option is perfect for that.
One of the options is a shoulder color blocking. Shown above on Abbey is hemming the edge and shown on Jude is leaving the edge un-hemmed. I liked mixing up the look of the shoulder patches. Also shown the pattern with long and short sleeves.
Another color-blocking option is color blocking the sleeve and bodice. I love color blocking the tops to mix fabrics and because it takes so little fabric to color block the top.
You can also color block just the bodice, or just the sleeves, which is a fun way to play with colors, and patterns. Pictured above is also the body suit option for the 3m, 6m, and 9m sizes. (shown above is the 6m size)
Lastly there is a ruffle sleeve option, which adds a cute little feminine detail. (shown above is the 9m bodysuit)
One last picture because I can’t get enough of the fact that she love crosses her legs when she sits.

Hi! Is there a huge difference in the anytime at all tee and the lucille top? I know the anytime has more options, but I just love that lucille top! I'm trying to decide which to purchase if I can only have one…I have an almost three year old girl and an almost one year old boy…Thank you!! LOVE your patterns!

The Lucille top is a raglan style sleeve with pleated detail, the pattern only has a color blocked style and the angle of the color blocking is different. So the patterns are totally different but if you are hoping to sew for a boy and girl I would go with the Anytime At All Tee, since the Lucille is more of a feminine style.

Well, looks like I just bought myself a pattern! Or will be very shortly 😉 I missed the launch of this, but I am in need of the perfect t-shirt pattern that isn't too fitted. And look at all the options….wow! Body suits!? Oh man, maybe it's time to have another baby… 😉

I know! Body suits on babies are so sweet, kind of makes me sad to think mine is almost out of that size.

Hi Shauna! I made the size 3m bodysuit on saturday and love it! I used size 20mm kam snaps and had trouble unsnapping the suit. What kind of snaps do you use and how do you apply them? I usually dont have a hard time with the kam snaps but im not trying to have to cut the suit off of my baby haha
Shauna@shwinandshwin
I used the dritz snap kit size 15 snap. They go on easy and don't rip or tear when snapping and unsnapping. If your having trouble with the fabric being sturdy enough you can add interfacing to the binding where the snaps will be and that will help add stability for the snaps.
