I was able to spend some time with my sister and her family, and us being the Shwins that we are had a lot of fun getting our craft on. There were a few masks that we were wanting to try out, some successes and quite a few flops. (Don’t you love when that happens) Needless to say at times the kids didn’t like that we were having “boring fun” and not playing with them.
That gave us the idea of doing masks with your little ones. At first my niece was a little reluctant but once we mentioned that you can eat it and it tastes good she was excited to try it, and you’re going to love how amazing your skin will look and feel!
Ingredients:
- Greek Yogurt (2 spoonfulls)
- Berries (handful) I used Strawberries, Blueberries & Red Raspberries
Natural ingredients have a lot of qualities that can help your skin look and feel great, and many can be found right in your kitchen. Why these ingredients?
Greek Yogurt:
- Prevent premature aging
- Reduce discoloration
- Moisturizing
Strawberries:
- Skin lightening
- Gives skin a healthy glow
Blueberries:
- Normalize oil levels in your skin
- Softens skin
Red Raspberries:
- Repair damaged skin
- Promote youthful skin
Step 1:
Wash berries and cut off strawberry stems.
Step 2:
Combine berries in dish and mash with fork. (You can also use a blender or food processor)
Step 3:
Add desired amount of mashed berries to two scoops of greek yogurt.
Step 4:
Apply mixture to skin, leave on for 15-20 minutes, or for however long the little ones will sit still 🙂 Cleanse off and apply moisturizer. Enjoy!
p.s…… yes, it really is a lot of fun!
