Today I have a fun little tutorial for you. You can add this bow to any neckline to any top, to the front or to the back (as I did for one for Abbey which I will show you later)
It’s so quick and easy to make. I made it with knit fabric so I didn’t have to finish the edges and there was really nice drape the bow. For the tank I self drafted a quick tank by basically taking the Anytime At All top and making the shoulder narrower, and the bodice a little slimmer.
For the bow I made a small rectangle with the edges folded in. Then with the right side facing down I secured the rectangle along the neckline in the center front.
For the bow part I cut a large rectangle. Then I cut along the neckline and angled out the two top edges.
Gather up the middle of the bow piece, lift the rectangle over and then sew the bow piece along the neckline and secure the rectangle in place.
Then finish off the neckline however you like. I did a ribbing for this one.
There you have a cute little bow.
I love the ascot like feel it adds without it choking around the neck or the risk of it coming untied.

I was trying to really think how to make a tank dress from a t-shirt pattern, so thank you! It should have clicked but i think too much sometimes haha. I spent forever looking at zara baby after your last post with the other shoes. They have good inspirational stuff

Gorgeous! Everything is gorgeous, as usual! I love how you choose a white background for the blue shirt, and it works! We included this little shirt in our round up of things to sew with knit fabric. )http://skirtfixation.com/2014/06/20-things-sew-knit-fabric/)
