Today I am sharing the next Disney ready outfit in the Everyday Princess series. Today it’s Anna, one of Penny’s favorites, and perfect since she is a feisty little sister.
For the Anna you will need:
Kona Cotton (teal, black and royal blue)
Green thread
Fabric pencil
Fabric paint in green and pink
Buttons (I did covered buttons so they would blend in)
So diving right in. Taking the bottom of the bodice cut from black, I drew a little swirly design kind of like the one on Anna’s dress, but just kind of free hand.
Then using the satin stitch (short wide stitch setting) I simply stitched along the drawn lines to embroidery the design. You could also just embroider the design but this way saved time.
Then for the skirt I quartered the skirt. (pressed in half and then in half again) Then at each fold line draw on a flower and paint them in with fabric paint.
Then finish the pattern as instructed.
Then you are done. I decided to make tunic length for this one since I wanted a variety of tops and dresses for the girls.
We will keep moving along, you can catch the Snow White version here
