I love some reverse applique. It’s a great way to add dimension and texture to a design. I have shared this technique a few times in the past so I don’t have a full tutorial for you today. Here is a link to the past tutorials.
For this shirt, I also started with a sweatshirt from my upcycle pile. It fit decent but the sleeves were way too long. This was the quickest fix. I cut the sleeves off, shortened them from the top and then sewed them back on.
