Happy September everyone! Not only is September national sewing month, but it is also a big anniversary around here. September is the month we started this here blog, (3 years ago) A year into the blogging journey we offered up our very first pattern for sale. Just like our blog back at the begging it was a little rough around the edges, and there was room for improvement, but what it did do was unlock a passion. I seriously LOVE kids clothes! I especially love sewing them and designing them. Is there anything better than seeing your kid be so excited that they are wearing something you MADE. I just love seeing their personalities shine. Clothing is very expressive and says a lot about a person. Kids are no different and I love being able to design things (often with them) that I can also share with you. To celebrate our Anniversary and of course to encourage some sewing during national sewing month we are having a CRAZY huge anniversary sale! There is a catch 🙂 In order to get the discount codes for the sale you have to be a newsletter subscriber. (if you already subscribe check your inbox or junk mail/spam since they already went out) If you are not a subscriber no worries you can still get in on the action simply hop over HERE and subscribe and the newsletter full of sweet discount codes will be coming your way 🙂
The Anniversary Sale will run starting today (September 5th) through Sunday (September 8th) With a different item on sale each day!

I have this pattern and everyone LOVES the jackets I've made with it. I've tried both fleece and a thick knit and both worked great.
